Ceramic coating creates a hard, sacrificial barrier that shields your paint from the sun and other harsh elements. Unlike wax, it has a self-cleaning ability that keeps your vehicle cleaner, longer. It also keeps paint extremely glossy and helps prevent swirl marks.
Ceramic coating contains SiO2 (silicon dioxide), the primary component of glass. It's what gives the coating its strength and hardness while deepening the shine of your paint, and it makes ceramic far more durable and hydrophobic than any wax or sealant.
Coating locks in whatever is underneath, so the paint should look its best first. Silver includes a one-step gloss polish for newer paint. Gold and Platinum include a two-step correction that removes moderate scratches, swirl marks and defects to reveal that wet, glossy look.
Level 1 is for anyone who doesn't need polishing and simply wants to protect their paint: smooth paint and durable protection for about a year with proper maintenance. Level 2 reduces swirl marks, dramatically enhances gloss and adds a durable layer of protection.
